The main reason anyone buys a franchise is to get access to expert training and support from people that have been through the process and actually set up a letting agency before.
Unfortunately as franchise networks get bigger, in many cases trainers are bought in or recruited, to fill ever increasing training needs. This means you are no longer dealing with the main guys that started the business or those that have "been there and done that" and that’s what makes us different
Our training team is headed up by the highly acclaimed Lettings Expert Sally Lawson, MARLA, MNAEA. Sally is the original founder of the core business, established in 1990, she ran the original letting agency for 20 years. Sally now owns that and 2 other letting agencies, as well as owning and heading up the franchise operation too.
You will receive one to one training from Sally as well as her trainers, which have also set up or run letting agencies themselves, not brought in trainers. So you really will be learning from the horse’s mouth.
You will also have on-going support from Sally and her team of ARLA qualified staff and directors, many of whom still own/run their own their own branches.
So what training will you receive?
Before you start trading, you will receive guided assistance in researching your area, choosing and setting up premises and making sure they are on brand, liaising with your landlord if necessary. Guidance in identifying your main competition; setting your new fee structure and looking for key marketing opportunities or niche markets in your area and getting a full business plan drawn up, both the financial assessment and the practical plan too.
Training you will receive
You will receive a comprehensive 2 week training course at our head office in Wolverhampton, where Sally and her team will take you through the essentials you will need to know to run your business. The subjects range include amongst others:

Ongoing daily and technical support
Our support team are there every day to answer any legal or technical questions you may have. The support team are a collection of our most experienced branch owners and managers, they are collectively highly trained, up to the minute with regulations etc,
You will also have access through the support team to industry leading solicitors to answer any complex, out of the ordinary legal questions that may arise.
There is also an online network forum, where the franchise owners regularly post ideas, questions and answers supporting each other
There is many marketing initiatives on the go at any time across the network and you may opt in to any you feel would be suitable and of course our team at head office will guide you on this
If you want to run a seminar or networking event and need speakers, then of course we are happy to assist and come and speak at your event too, or utilise our connections to get engaging speakers to your event
Technical, Social or online support
Of course you will have your own area, within the website and when you have your social media accounts set up we can offer you support with this, by utilising our plentiful content of which you can link to etc. We also have an IT team here which you can ask for any IT queries you may have
